ASWA Scholarship
Dear Scholarship Applicant,
Once again the American Society of Women Accountants is seeking eligible candidates for the Academic year 2011-2012 Scholarship which will be awarded in the Spring of 2012.
Undergraduate Scholarship eligibility requirement
1. Shall be either a part-time or full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or an equivalent designated post-baccalaureate certificate or accounting.
2. Shall have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours or 90 quarter
hours with a declared major in accounting.
3. Shall be attending an accredited college, university or professional
school of accounting.
4. Need not be a member of ASWA.

4. Letters of reference
5. 75 word essay on career goals and objectives, what impact you would
like to have on the accounting world, and what you most like about
accounting.
Certification Scholarship
Purpose:
To support the exam fees of any one of the following certifications: CPA, CFP, CFE, CIA, CMA or CVA.
Criteria:
Scholarship awards are presented ASWA members only. Candidates are those who have passed all parts of the exam during 18 months prior to January 15, 2010 and are eligible for certification. Documentation required.
To be considered for a Professional Certification Scholarship, please fully complete the Certification Scholarship Application form along with your resume, grade transcript and diagnostic report of your passing exam scores. Deadline for the application is February 28 and winners will be notified by March.
